Over the years I have been sourced for my Thanksgiving recipes tips by local and national media, and so here are a few links below to help you out.
When we were in lockdown in 2020 I made a mess of videos for Field Goods, a local company who at the time was offering home delivery of local products. The three cranberry sauces I recorded for them are easy and so delicious, hitting the sweet and sour notes perfectly. Try ‘em. You’ll make then again and again! There is even a recipe from 2000 for Mojo Cubano Cuban flavored Turkey because, me being me, I wanted to draw attention to the Elian Gonzalez controversy mesmerizing the US.
Thanksgiving shopping and cooking should be a pleasure, not a chore, ot at least a pleasurable chore. Get the family involved, even if they don’t cook, they can taste and clean! When you find the pleasure and smile while making food, the rewards become obvious.
Most of all, with all of the madness happening in our small world, give thanks for what you have.
